Lynn Russell Davis has a long history in the real estate business. While raising four children, Lynn began her career in the 1980’s as an agent in the Mountain Brook office of Johnson Rast & Hays which later become part of Realty-South. While working as an agent she was an officer in an upper bracket building company. She founded Lynn Russell Realty and Development, L.L.C. in 1997. During the early years, she gained experience marketing subdivisions such as Ashford on the Pond, The Shire, and Summit at the Shoals off Highway 41 in Shelby County. Her marriage to Steven L. Davis, who was a real estate developer, allowed her to learn more about the subdivision approval process and facts about the land that either help a project succeed or cause problems.

During this time she purchased and remodeled many properties as an investor and learned skills necessary in design. She even learned faux finishing and plaster casting.
